No, you do not. There is about 100m of dirt road at the bottom of the mountain, then it’s tar until you get through our gate, then pressed gravel until you reach Cabins in the Clouds or dirt road to Eaglereach.
You may want to bring a 4WD vehicle if you want to do some off-road exploring.
Just bring your clothing and food items required. We supply all linen and towels, some condiments, cooking facilities, guest amenities, games, DVD’s, books, tennis racquets and spa towels.
Telstra is very good. Optus and Vodaphone not so much. There are small areas on the property where you may get an SMS through but it’s not reliable. If you head over to the lookout at Mount George, you may get some phone service there with Optus and Vodaphone.
No! Unless you book with other couples or family, the cabin/lodge is for your exclusive use only.
Please call or text us! We are on site 24/7, whether it is us personally or our caretaker. You will often find us in the Recreation Centre (games room) or around the property working. We can be easily identified with our Cabins in the Clouds uniforms on.
